Etiquette
Whether you're playing competitively or just for fun, adhering to proper etiquette is essential in badminton.
It ensures a positive experience for everyone involved and helps maintain the spirit of fair play.
Below is a quick guide to the key etiquette points you should keep in mind when playing at SFBC and badminton in general.
SFBC System
SFBC doesn't operate any formal system for arranging the matches at its social sessions.
We leave it to the player to manage themselves.
We simply ask that all members behave considerately and
communicate in a positive, flexible and accommodating manner.
SFBC has multiple teams fulfilling competitive fixtures throughout the year.
When hosting visiting opposition its even more important that we adhere to proper etiquette.
Failure to do so can cost the teams, and reflect poorly on the club as a whole.
